Nice old English style pub, in the middle of the village of North Curry.
Been here a couple of times. The food is good, but not excellent. The prices tend towards food that should really be slightly better, but now I'm just nit picking. We had a great time there. I'd certainly go back again.
By the way, they have a good selection of fish dishes if that's your thing. -

We ate here on a quiet Sunday evening and the food was superb. Two of our party had medallions of pork and I had guinea fowl with mushrooms and onions on a bed of mash, all with fresh vegetables cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and the service fast. Although all our meals were £11.95, there was a wide selection meals for £7.95 and £8.95 which is increasingly rare and great to see. I was a little disappointed that there were only two ales on offer, both from the Otter Brewery but then you can't have everything.
Combine all that with a network of footpaths that make this great walking country then I think this is a winner. So just Google Somerset pub walks, take a stroll and work up an appetite and enjoy the rewards at a wonderful pub! -

Gosh what a terrible meal in edible risotto mushy and tasting of cheap stock. Deap fried potatoes and a 80's menu. One of the worst meals I ever ever had yuk

Lovely old style pub with open fire and low, beamed ceilings. The food here is delicious, a real gastro-pub. Lots of choice with all fresh ingredients, made on site. Great for a night out with friends.
